Andre Da Silva Mendes is a Brazilian born goalkeeper who spent his formative years in Portugal where he joined the Benfica academy aged 13. He spent two years there before he moved to England and joined the Morecambe academy . He moved through the ranks and there and made his professional first team debut on 9th November 2021. He was then sent on a season long loan at Colne in 2022 and a months loan at Ashton Utd before being released by Morecambe in May 2023. He then joined Lancaster City for the 2023/24 season and made 33 appearances for them before suffering an injury in February which ruled him out til April when he joined Bury Fc where he made just the 1 appearance. Another short spell followed at FC United before making 16 appearances for Prescot Cables before he rejoined Lancaster City in November 2024 and then Ramsbottom Utd in February 2025 making 13 appearances for them.
