Sean started out at Wigan Athletic and then Oldham Athletic Youth where he had a month's loan spell at Stalybridge. In July 2021, he moved to Altrincham U18s where he had another month's loan at Trafford FC. The following season ( 2021/22) he joined Matlock Town but moved in December 2021 to Bury AFC, and then Bury FC in 2023. In September 2023, he moved to Trafford where he had made over 100 appearances.
