THE MIDLAND FOOTBALL LEAGUE PREMIER DIV'N
TUESDAY 6th OCTOBER 2026 7.45pm KICK OFF
NORTHWICH VICTORIA v STOCKPORT GEORGIANS
Another midweek match under the lights for the Vics on Tuesday as they take on newcomers to the league, Stockport Georgians. They were founded in 1908 and competed in the Stockport Sunday League. In 1931 they joined the Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur League, before absorbing Adswood Amateurs in 1987 and taking their place in the Manchester League. Then in 2022, they were admitted to the North West Counties League Division 1 South. Just 4 years later they were promoted to Level 5 and placed in the Midland League for the 2026/27 season. They currently lie in 11th position after having played 9 matches, gaining 14 points with 4 wins, 2 draws and just 3 losses so far. Their main man is Lucas Berry who has scored 8 goals in just 9 matches.
Vics will be hoping to continue their unbeaten home record in the League to maintain their current position in the top 5 of the league and will be buoyed by their excellent victory over Sporting Khalsa last week, and Saturdays' narrow win over Uttoxeter Town.
