Bentley Commits Future to Vics After Breakthrough Campaign
Northwich Victoria are thrilled to announce that exciting young prospect Will Bentley has officially committed his future to the club for the upcoming season!

A true product of our youth development system, Will’s progression into the senior squad represents a major milestone for the club's pathway. After catching the eye with his performances in the reserve setup, the homegrown talent was called up to the first team for the final third of the 2025/26 campaign and grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

Will went on to make his full first-team debut during the run-in, quickly establishing himself as an incredibly clinical option in the final third. Despite only featuring in the latter stages of the year, he racked up an impressive 4 goals in just 8 appearances, proving he belongs at this level.

With a full pre-season ahead of him, the young forward is primed to make a major impact from the very first whistle.

First Team Manager Lee Duckworth was full of praise for the young attacker's impact and potential:

"Will came in from the reserves for the final third of last season and did very well. He settled quickly and has bags of quality with great technique. I’m looking forward to seeing how he does with a full pre-season behind him."

Reflecting on his breakthrough and looking ahead to the new campaign, Will Bentley shared his hunger to help push the club forward:

"I’m really pleased to be signing on for the upcoming season. Last year I was only there for the run-in but absolutely loved it. This season I’m so excited to go from the start and try and go one better this time—promotion.

The staff and fans have been excellent since I’ve joined, now it’s time for me to repay them!"
