Northwich Victoria are delighted to announce the next piece of the puzzle ahead of the 2025/2026 season as striker, Sam Deering has committed to stay.

Sam joined shortly after the management team of Duckworth & Goddard took over at the club, and instantly made an impact. His debut came against Stone Old Alleynians where he came on as a substitute.

Whilst an injury kept him out for a large chunk of time, he still showed his prolific nature, by scoring 5 times in 11 appearances for the Trickies, including a brace against Dudley Town in a fiercely contested match that saw us run out 3-2 winners.

Manager, Lee Duckworth had the following to say about Sam signing back with the club:
"Sam had been on my radar for a couple of years and we’d spoken before about working together. When me and Luke took the job he was one of the first targets. He came in and did really well so was obviously one of the lads we wanted to bring back this year. I’m sure with a full preseason under his belt he will go from strength to strength!"
