Debut : 01.09.2020 v Padiham FcStarted at Bradford City Youth, moved on to Crewe FC. He joined up with Vics at the start of the 2020/21 season.
Jan 2023 : Left for Runcorn Linnets after scoring 31 goals in 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons. After finishing the 2022/23 at Runcorn, Matty joined up with Whitchurch Alport but quickly moved to 1874 Northwich but finished the season at Ramsbottom United. He joined Winsford United at the start of the 2024/25 season and spent 2 seasons there before rejoining the Vics at the start of the 2026/27 season
