Elliot is a pacy attacking player who started out at the Manchester United Academy before switching to Macclesfield Town. He then moved to Radcliffe Borough and scored 16 goals in the 2016/17 season to earn a transfer to Tranmere Rovers.Following loan spells at Colwyn Bay, Warrington Town and Hyde United, he returned to Radcliffe in 2018-19 before joining Atherton Collieries in March 2020, He made 44 appearances there scoring six goals before leaving at the end of 2021-22 after loan spells during that season at Macclesfield FC and Colne. He next joined Witton Albion making over 100 appearances for them before joining Staylbridge Celtic in December 2024 and then Runcorn Linnets in January 2026.making just 7 appearances for them.
