Wednesday evening sees Vics attempt to put the disappointment of Saturdays late late defeat to Whitchurch Alport behind them as they take on Congleton Town at Wincham Park.
Congleton came third in the League last season, and will be another stern test for the Vics. Indeed , Vics lost twice to Congleton last season, 1 - 3 at home, and 1 - 2 away, so definite room for improvement . Congleton started the season with a creditable 3 - 3 draw at Barnoldswick Town with tricky winger continuing his fine form from last season with 2 of the goals.

Plenty of free parking is available at the ground, and the gates will open 6.45pm. Hot food ( Pies, Pasties, Chips , Hot Dogs) along with hot drinks and other refreshments all available in the tea hut on the far side of the ground whilst Witton's bar will be open from 6.00pm. Please note that there is no entry to the bar once in the ground BEFORE the match . Entry to the ground is by the turnstiles at the car park end.
