After starting out life in the Staffordshire County League, Uttoxeter Town were one of the founder members of the Midland Football League in 2013/14, and were promoted up to the Premier Division for the 21/22 season after Covid. The next season they were reprieved from relegation back to Division 1 due to Winsford United's decision to take voluntary relegation.
The last couple of seasons they have struggled finishing just above the relagation positions and they have started poorly again this season where they currently lie in 17th position with just 5 points from 10 matches. Their only league win this season was in the first match when they had an excellent 2 - 0 victory away at Wythenshawe Town. Since then they have lost 7 and drawn two of their 9 matches , though most of them have been fairly close matches .

Vics will be hoping to continue their unbeaten home record in the League to maintain their current position in the top 5 of the league and will be buoyed by their excellent victory over Sporting Khalsa in mid-week.

There is a large free car park at the ground and there is a fully licensed clubhouse along with a tea bar inside the ground selling both hot and cold foods.

DIRECTIONS :

From Northwich, follow the one way system signposted Runcorn A533 out past the Victoria Infirmary , through Winnington, turning left still on the A533 at Winnington Swing Bridge. Follow the A533 through Barnton and Little Leigh. At the Bartington traffic lights, continue straight across
for another 3.5 miles before taking the 1st exit at the roundabout still on the A533. Follow the road round for 0.4 miles and take the 2nd exit onto Murdishaw Avenue. The entrance to the ground is situated on the right immediately after the Queen of Hearts Pub.
