Tuesday sees a home game against the only team to have beaten them in the League this season, Lye Town ! As most of you will remember, there were extenuating reasons for this feature, mainly the absence of a goalkeeper, with Andre Mendes breaking down en route to the match down at Lye. This meant our esteemed Joint Manager Luke Goddard had to step in and go in net ( which is bad enough ) but fate was against us even more and Luke had to go off with concussion after 30 minutes,( when we were already 2 down) which meant that striker Kieron Hamm had to replace him in net, and we eventually only lost by three goals to two!
Since then Lye have gained some form and have only lost 1 of their last 11 League matches to climb to 8th in the League with 33 points.
Vics will be looking to continue their winning ways after their win on Saturday against Romulus which came after four consecutive draws against other promotion hopefuls. Please get down to the Apec Taxis Stadium and support the lads again and see your Top of the Table team!

DIRECTIONS :

From Northwich, follow the one way system signposted Runcorn A533 out past the Victoria Infirmary , through Winnington, turning left still on the A533 at Winnington Swing Bridge. Follow the A533 through Barnton and Little Leigh. At the Bartington traffic lights, continue straight across
for another 3.5 miles before taking the 1st exit at the roundabout still on the A533. Follow the road round for 0.4 miles and take the 2nd exit onto Murdishaw Avenue. The entrance to the ground is situated on the right immediately after the Queen of Hearts Pub.
