Romulus currently lie 13th in the League with just 14 points from 13 games, having finished just 13th last season just 3 points behind the Vics.. They are based in the Castle Vale area of Birmingham and were only formed in 1979 when they started playing Sunday League football. They eventually started playing senior football in 1999 and entered the Midland Football Combination. Two promotions followed in 2003/4 and again in 2006/7 but were relegated into the Midland League Premier in 2018.
They started the season with 5 straight defeats in all competitions but nice an excellent 4 - 3 win away at Winsford United, their form has improved slightly, and although still losing more than win, its usually only by the odd goal.

Lets get down to support the lads again and see if they can remain to the top of the table again following Abbey Hulton going 2 points clear on Saturday following our postponent.

DIRECTIONS :

From Northwich, follow the one way system signposted Runcorn A533 out past the Victoria Infirmary , through Winnington, turning left still on the A533 at Winnington Swing Bridge. Follow the A533 through Barnton and Little Leigh. At the Bartington traffic lights, continue straight across
for another 3.5 miles before taking the 1st exit at the roundabout still on the A533. Follow the road round for 0.4 miles and take the 2nd exit onto Murdishaw Avenue. The entrance to the ground is situated on the right immediately after the Queen of Hearts Pub.
