THE MIDLAND FOOTBALL LEAGUE PREMIER DIV'N
SATURDAY 21st FEBRUARY 2026 3.00pm KICK OFF
NORTHWICH VICTORIA v STONE OLD ALLEYNIANS
Stone Old Alleynians FC was founded in 1962 by Dave Bonnet, a teacher at, and a former pupil of Alleyns Grammar School in Stone. The Club started in division 4 of the Stafford Amateur League, gaining promotion to division 3 in their second season. The following season saw them promoted again, and further promotion followed as they finished Champions of Division 2. The 1970/71 season saw the Club win the top League for the first time, to be followed by winning it again a further 3 times. The 2019/20 season saw the Club make their debut in the FA Cup and in 2021 they were promoted to the Premier Division of The Midland League based on their results in the abandoned 2019/20 and 20/21 seasons.
They currently lie in 12th position with 21 points after 25 games , after finishing last season in a creditable 9th place.
They haven't won in their last 5 matches but managed to draw against 1874 Northwich last week and then against Coton Green on Tuesday night. We have already played Stone twice this season, recording a narrow 1 -0 win at Stone in the league but losing there 3 -1 in the Midland League Cup on a very wet Tuesday evening.
Vics will be hoping to continue their unbeaten home record in the League to maintain their current 3 point league at the top of the table. Your support is vitally important and we hope see you down at the Apec .
