Another midweek game this week as Vics take on Whitchurch Alport on Wednesday Evening. Whitchurch havent' had the best start this season after finishing 6th last season, and currently lie in 15th position with 4 points after 4 matches. Early days of course. Their one win has come against rock bottom Uttoxeter Town whilst they have lost to Hanley Town and AFC Wolverhampton City and down with Tividale. Their main problem has been a lack of goals, scoring only 4 goals in those 4 matches which won't be helped by the departure of former Trickie Callun Parker to Barnton. However another ex trickie, Roman Allen is still there at the heart of defence.
Vics of course are still unbeaten in the League ( 3 wins out of 4) and at time of writing are proudly sitting at the top of the table. With a couple of players going off with knocks against Dudley on Saturday, it was good to see the return from injury of Sean Cooke and the introduction of Sam Gill to the squad whilst loanee Mikey Lawson is likely to fill in for Matt Harrison again at the centre of defence.

Lets get down to support the lads again and see if they can remain at the top of the table again following the midweek matches.

DIRECTIONS :

From Northwich, follow the one way system signposted Runcorn A533 out past the Victoria Infirmary , through Winnington, turning left still on the A533 at Winnington Swing Bridge. Follow the A533 through Barnton and Little Leigh. At the Bartington traffic lights, continue straight across
for another 3.5 miles before taking the 1st exit at the roundabout still on the A533. Follow the road round for 0.4 miles and take the 2nd exit onto Murdishaw Avenue. The entrance to the ground is situated on the right immediately after the Queen of Hearts Pub.
