AFC WULFRUNIANS are the visitors to The Barton Stadium on Saturday, our final match of this season and our final "home" match at Winsford before we move to the Apec Taxis Stadium and Runcorn Linnets next season. We would like to thank all at Winsford United for their hospitality and help over the last couple fo seasons.
The Wuffs as they are known are based in Wolverhampton and changed their name from The Old Wulfrunians when they joined The West Midlands Regional League in 2005. A couple of promotions followed , and in 2014 they were one of the founder members of the Midland Football League. Last season they finished 11th, and currently lie 14th though they would move above us in 12th if they were to win today. This will be their last league match as AFC Wulfrunians as they are changing their club name to Wolverhampton City FC for next season.

DIRECTIONS :

M6 to Junction 19, follow A556 westwards until slip road for the A533, follow A533 until roundabout, onto the industrial estate, turn right at that roundabout and take the A5018 until next roundabout, bear left onto Wharton Roard to the Top House pub, turn left onto Kingsway and left again to ground.
