Vics face another team in the top 5 in their final away match of the season when they face 2nd placed Shifnal Town on Saturday. Shifnal Town were founded in 1964 although there were other clubs with similar names playing in the town since Victorian times. They have had a few ups and downs over the years with ground problems but have moved up the leagues and were promoted to The Midland League Premier Division in 2021.
Shifnal still have a outside chance of overtaking Lichfield City for the automatic promotion place so will be fighting hard for the 3 points to keep up the pressure on their rivals. They are on a run of only one defeat in 10 matches, and that was surprisingly a 4 - 3 loss against relegation threatened Highgate United.
Vics in the meanwhile will be looking to continue their recent good form but will still be without Kieran Hamm and Sam Deering upfront.

DIRECTIONS :

Take the M6 until J12 and take the red exit at the roundabout onto the A5 SP North Wales/Telford.. In 1.5 miles, go straight over roundabout keeping on the A5. In a further 8 miles, 2nd exit at the roundabout agains keeping on the A5 before taking the first turn on the left in 0.6 miles.
Then in 0.7 miles, take a slight left onto Coppice Green Lane and then a right in 0.8 miles staying on Coppice Green lane. The ground will be on the right in just under a mile just after crossing over the M54. Free parking is available at Idsall School also on Coppice Green Lane
