THE MIDLAND FOOTBALL LEAGUE[ PREMIER DIV'N

NORTHWICH VICTORIA v STUDLEY FC

The league campaign finally starts and we start with a home match on Saturday , when we welcome Studley FC to The U Lock It Stadium. It's a new League for the Vics, and a new look squad as well with only Ryan Jackson remaining from last season's squad, although both Matty Clarke ( new Club Captain) and Alex Bennett are signed on as well but are currently injured . Vics bowed out of the FA Cup last Friday as they lost up at Skelmersdale United in a match which they went close to getting something out of, despite going down to 10 men after just half an hour. There was plenty to be positive about the performance , and they received a warm ovation from the travelling Vics' fans after the match.
Studley were formed in 1971 under the name BKL. The team was put together by employees of BKL Fittings and played in the Redditch Sunday League. The Club as we know now : Studley FC, came into existence on the 2nd July 2002. they play their home matches at the Beehiveand are also known as the Bees. The Bees were moved across to the Hellenic Football League and were crowned Champions of Division 1 in the 21/22 season and promoted to the Midland league Premier Division. Studley finished 14th in the Midland League last season ( out of 20) and have a new manager ( Mike Fowler) in place, and have strengthened their squad with signings such as Jack Whelan and Zak Harban from Romulus, and John Mills from Sutton Coldfield Town. Studley started their competitive season well with an excellent 3 - 2 win away at Coventry United in their FA Cup tie

Concessions : £ 5.00 ( Seniors and students
12-16 year olds : £2.00
Under 12s : FOC with a paying adult
If you have the exact change available, that is always helpful .

Plenty of free parking is available at the ground, and the gates will open 2.00pm. Hot food ( Pies, Pasties, Chips , Hot Dogs) along with hot drinks and other refreshments all available in the tea hut on the far side of the ground whilst Witton's bar will be open from 1.00pm. Please note that there is no entry to the bar once in the ground BEFORE the match . Entry to the ground is by the turnstiles at the car park end.
