Vics make the long journey along the M62 eastwards on SUNDAY to take on Beverley Town FC in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup. Beverley Town are members of the Northern Premier League East ( step 4 ) after they gained promotion through the playoffs last season.
Beverley have been in existence since 1902 but only joined the League system in 2000 when they reformed to play in the Humber premier League. Since then, they have made steady progress through the system culminating in their promotion last season.
Their appearance in the 2024 FA Cup was their first for 102 years but unfortunately lost 3 - 2 against Whitley Bay Fc .
Their competitive season hasn't started yet so the FA cup tie will be their first competitive match though they have gained a series of decent results in pre-season including a 2 all draw against Winterton Rangers whom we played in the FA Vase last season.

Vics will be looking to get back on the goal scoring trail after two successive 0-0 draws in the League, despite dominating both matches , so let s get over to Beverley and cheer the lads on.

There is very limited parking at the ground, but there is parking available along Norwood free of charge.
The Clubhouse had a fully licensed bar, and the usual hot food is available inside the ground. Beverley itself has a host of pubs and eating places in the town as well.

Directions :

Take the M6 and then the M62 East until Junction 38 North Cave. Merge onto the B1230 and continue along the B1230 for approx 7 miles then turn left onto Wold Road and then in 1 mile turn right onto Walkington Heads. In 2 miles , continue onto Newbald Road and turn right in 1.7 miles and join York Road, then Wylies Road taking the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Manor Road. In 0.1 mile turn left onto Norwood ( B1230 ) where the ground is on the left in 0.2 miles.
