Vics make the short journey across to Manchester on Saturday to take on Droylsden Fc for their penultimate friendly before the season starts properly on August 1st. Droylsden are in the North West Counties Premier Division now, after gaining promotion last season, as well as defeating us in the FA Vase !
Vics will be looking to continue their steady improvement in pre-season, with the squad looking more settled now.

DIRECTIONS :

Take the M56 towards Manchester and merge onto the M60. Pass through Stockport and then at J23 take the A6140 exit sp Ashton-under-Lyne.
Turning left onto the A6140 but in a few 100 yards turn left onto the A635 Manchester Road. In 0.4m use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Lumb Ln/A635/A662 and immediately keep left onto the A662. In 0.6m turn right onto Market St and the ground is on your left in a few hundred yards.
