Vics are back at Wincham Park on Tuesday night for their first competitive match since March when they take on Padiham, who were coincidentally the last team they played back in March. Vics won that fixture 3 - 1 with two goals from defender Brandon Barski and the third by Brad Lynch who has since joined Ashton United. Of course there will many changes from the teams back in March, but Vics have retained the core of their squad from last season though full back Rob Henry has just recently left to take up the assistant manager position at Lancaster City. We wish him well in his new role. Newcomers to watch out for include striker Chad Whyte who has been in great form during pre-season scoring 4 goals in about 180 minutes of game time so far, which you can see on our NVFC TV channel on You-Tube. We also welcome the return of winger Darrhyl Mason who has returned to the Club after work commitments forced him to miss last season.
Padiham have had a successful pre-season remaining unbeaten in a run which includes good victories away at Prestwich Heys and Silsden. They include in their squad former Trickies Dom Craig and Morgan Crowther.

Plenty of free parking is available at the ground, and the gates will open 6.45pm. Entry to the ground is by the turnstiles at the car-park end whilst entry to the bar is strictly from the front of the Stadium. Hot food ( Pies, Pasties, Chips , Hot Dogs) along with hot drinks and other refreshments all available in the tea hut on the far side of the ground whilst Witton's bar will be open from 6.30pm. Please note that there is no entry to the bar once in the ground BEFORE the match .
