NORTHWICH VICTORIA v SILSDEN AFC

The road to Wembley starts on Saturday with Vics taking on Silsden AFC in the Extra-Preliminary Round of The Emirates FA Cup.
This season, Silsden have been transferred across to the Northern Counties East League after spending last season in the Hallmark Security League with ourselves, when they finished 9th. The two league games last season resulted in a 2 - 0 win for the Vics at Wincham Park, then a 2 - 2 draw in the final game of the season up at Silsden. Silsden have started their league season with a 2 - 1 win over Penistone Church last Saturday, which will give them confidence after an indifferent pre-season .

This match will see the official unveiling of our returning mascot, Tricky the Cat now under the sponsorship of Vinnies Cakes n Shakes who were the lucky winners of our Sponsor Tricky competition.

If you have the exact change available, that is always helpful .

Plenty of free parking is available at the ground, and the gates will open 2.00. Hot food ( Pies, Pasties, Chips , Hot Dogs) along with hot drinks and other refreshments all available in the tea hut on the far side of the ground whilst Witton's bar will be open from 1.00pm. Please note that there is no entry to the bar once in the ground BEFORE the match . Entry to the ground is by the turnstiles at the car park end.
