On Saturday, Will Lloyd sat down to sign his contract that will keep him at the Trickies for a further year.

Lloyd was an ever present in the starting line up this season, and even took the captain's armband when club captain, Matty Clarke wasn't present.

Lloyd scored 4 times in 34 league appearances this season, and was the obvious starting point to building our squad for next season.

Joint Managers, Lee Duckworth & Luke Goddard had the following to say about Will.

"Will has been fantastic since we came in. He’s took on board everything we’ve asked of him and really bought in to what we are trying to do. We’re delighted to continue to help him develop.

You can see the affinity the fans have for him and it’s reciprocal as he really embodies the clubs ethos. It was a no brainer for us to trigger the extension and Will was equally as happy to commit to the club. I’m sure the supporters will be as happy as we are with Lloydy coming back."

Will had the following to say after he had signed his contract:
