Northwich Victoria Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder SEAN COOKE as our first new addition ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. The 32 year old agrees a one year deal with the Club and is an exciting signing as we look forward to a productive summer ahead.

With former Clubs such as AFC Telford, FC United, Stafford Rangers & mostly recognised for his outstanding record with Nantwich Town where he scored a fantastic 122 goals becoming one of the all time top goalscorers! Sean brings a wealth of experience from steps above and importantly an attitude to want to help make our great football club progress again.

On joining he had this to say "As soon as I heard Northwich were interested and having spoke to the management team, listening to the Clubs ambitions it became a no brainer to sign. Personally I hope to add plenty of goals and assists for the team but clearly the main objective is promotion so hopefully I can help towards that.

Co-Manager Luke Goddard added "Firstly its about time Cookie agreed to join us after years of trying! Obviously he has a connection with Jack and myself but we have had targets since we took the job last November and this is just the kick start of the plans we have. Although we don`t wish to reveal too much too soon and get involved in the crazy time of year this is nowadays in non league, its part of an aligned approach to drip feed some quality and importantly trusted new additions.

I don't need to add too much on what Sean will bring, he`s proven it season in season out, all at a higher level, myself, Lee and Jack are delighted he is first to agree and it really is exciting times to be involved at Northwich Victoria"
