The big Northwich derby takes place on Saturday 24th July, 3.00pm kick off as the Vics take on their landlords Witton Albion in their latest pre-season match, and there is a Trophy at stake as this match is being played for the Vijay Anthwal Memorial Trophy. Vijay,, not only served the town of Northwich in his medical capacity but he was also the Club Doctor at Witton Albion, so it seems appropriate for this match to be played in his memory and Witton have kindly decided to donate all gate receipts to NHS Charities, a great gesture to show support for all the tremendous work they have done, and stress they have endured during this pandemic
