We are delighted to welcome the signing of SIMBA NYAMWANZA who joins on loan from League One outfit Shrewsbury Town until the end of the season.
At just 17 years old, the exciting winger made history last season in becoming the youngest player to represent Shrewsbury's first team as he made his debut on his 16th birthday!
Simba adds extra firepower and pace to the squad as we look to finish as strong as we can to build momentum for a big summer.
Co-Manager Luke Goddard added “As always a big thankyou to Charlie & Sean at Shrewsbury for entrusting us to help with the development of another one of their exciting prospects. It shows how well the other two lads in Karsten Cairns & Zac Prior have done, as well as the trust we have given to them, that we have been allowed to take Simba on loan until the end of the season.
Our squad is fairly settled now which has been key but we do still lack a couple of options in forward areas to give us more competition. I’m sure the Trickies fans will look forward to seeing more exciting young talent who can help create some positive times to finish the season with.
As mentioned previously it’s also part of the foundations in building our relations for the Club within the footballing network which is vital for the coming years as we look to grow on & off the pitch to put this Club back where it belongs”
Pending the relevant paperwork, Simba should be available for this week's matches as we host Shifnal Town (Wednesday night) and Highgate Utd (Saturday) at the Barton Stadium.
Please come down and cheer the lads on.
