The board at Northwich Victoria would like to thank all the supporters for their recent help and support in the groundshare agreement with Winsford United. On the eve or our first game we are very much looking forward to building a great relationship with Winsford United and once again would like to place on record our personal thanks to the Winsford United board especially, Antony, Steve and Rebecca for making the process extremely straight forward.

The groundshare brings to an end a long term agreement with Witton Albion since we were invited back in 2018 and we have enjoyed some fond memories of our time there and played our part in the support of the agreement and have made some great friendships along the way. After an initial meeting with Witton Albion in the summer and the realisation that the agreement may not be renewed we have been looking at alternative options to try and keep the club as close to Northwich as possible so that we can continue to grow as a club. In September it was confirmed that Witton Albion would not renew our agreement as they were indeed looking to grow the club in other directions and it's with thanks to the Witton Albion board that if we were to find a new place to play that we could start that relationship early and go our own ways on the good terms we have built over the 5 years.

Since the agreement with Winsford United was reached we have worked extremely hard together to work with the fixtures that clashed so that we could fulfil our fixture requirements and we have managed to achieve this thanks to the support of Steve McKenna from Winsford United and Brian Turner from Northwich Victoria therefore you will see some fixture amendments of those changes. I would also like to thank all the opposition teams both from the Northwest Counties First Division South and the Midlands Premier League that have supported us with either reversing fixtures or changing fixtures to support our ground share move.

Finally let’s all get behind the team together in our new home and continue your fantastic support of this famous club of ours.
