FA League Allocations 2025/26

Pete Tonge15 May - 19:13

Vics stay In Midland League but still only 18 Clubs

NVFC Stay in the Midland League !

The non-league allocations for Season 25/26 done by the FA have been released today and Northwich Victoria FC as expected are remaining in The Midland Football League Premier Division.
However the projected increase in the number of clubs in the League hasn't happened with the Midland League staying at 18 clubs and the NWCFL at 24 clubs. Surely this will change next season !
We have 5 new opposition clubs to face with Lye Town being relegated from the Northern Premier League Midlands and Hanley Town also relegated from the Northern Premier League West. Promoted into the league are Abbey Hulton and Winsford United from The North West Counties South and Coton Green from Midland League Division One.
However we lose Lichfield City and Shifnal Town, both of whom have been promoted to the level above whilst Wolverhampton Casuals are relegated down to level 6. Atherstone Town who finished 3rd have been laterally transferred whilst OJM Black Country have been demoted due to ground issues. Staying in the League after earning a reprieve are Highgate United.
