Atkinson enjoyed a stellar breakout campaign last year, making the step up into senior men’s football look effortless. A constant threat on the flanks, he established himself as a key component of the squad, making 38 appearances and chipping in with 4 goals across all competitions. His lightning pace, incredible energy, and fearless, direct style quickly made him a firm favorite among the Vics faithful.

For Atkinson, continuing his footballing journey with the Vics was an easy decision, citing the incredible support from the fans and unfinished business on the pitch as major driving factors:

"Last season was my first in men’s footy and I loved it playing for Vics. It’s a great club with a brilliant fan base getting behind us home and away," Atkinson said.

"I think I can really kick on this season and that Vics is the perfect place for me to do it. We came so close last season and I’ll be giving my all to try and go one better this year."
