A seasoned forward with a wealth of Football League and National League experience, AJ has represented a number of clubs including Crewe Alexandra, Shrewsbury Town, Morecambe, and Altrincham during his impressive career. He now brings his talent and know-how to the Trickies, adding proven quality and depth to our attacking options.

Leitch-Smith linked up with the squad during pre-season after positive talks with the club’s management team, and has already been making an impression on and off the pitch.

Speaking on his move, AJ said:

“I’m really excited to join a great club like Northwich Victoria. I already know a few of the lads, and after speaking with Jack and Luke over the summer, it was clear this was the right place for me. I’m looking forward to bringing some experience and quality to what is already a very talented group.”

Assistant Manager Jack Turner, who played a key role in securing the signing, added:

“AJ is someone I’ve known for a long time, and I know exactly what he brings to the table—both on and off the pitch. He’s a player I’ve been trying to persuade to join us for years. Technically outstanding, with the ability to both create and score goals, I’ve no doubt he’ll bring real excitement to the fans.”
