Marcus , now 26 started his football career with St Helens Town before joining Irlam in early 2016. At Silver Street Marcus was Irlam’s top marksmen in the 2018-19 campaign. Marcus then moved on to Northern Premier League side Atherton Collieries in the summer of 2019. He returned to the North West Counties League where he had a spell with Padiham He then had short spells with Pilkington, Runcorn Town and Daisy Hill before joining Charnock Richard in February 2023.

" I'm looking forward to showing the fans what I can do, looking forward to reuniting with Matt Barnes. I will bring hard work and pace, and hopefully a lot of goals to the Club and I can't wait to get going on Tuesday"

2) NIALL BATTERSBY :
Another signing from Bury fc, Niall is a young defender who impressed in the Manchester League with Hindsord FC, before signing for Atherton Collieries at the start of the 2019/20 season. Niall spent 3 seasons there making 61 appearances before joining Ashton United for the 2022/23 season. Unfortunately Niall suffered a serious injury after 16 appearances for the Robins and was released in February 2023. Niall has signed on dual registration terms.
Niall told the Vics :
" I'm delighted to come to a Club with so much history and an amazing fan base. Hopefully I'll be able to help the Club to climb the table and maintain a play off position, if not top of the league. I'm quick, tidy on the ball and dominant in the air"
