A game that could have gone either way, but with Barnoldswick snatching it late on with a strike by Zack Dale. Indeed, it was Barnoldswick who had the first half chance, with a strike hitting the side netting after only 2 minutes. However Vics should have taken the lead after 10 minutes when Dom Craig got in behind the defence but placed his shot just wide of the goal. Both teams were playing good football , and Barnoldswick produced a quick counter attack which ended with a shot heading for the bottom left corner but Danny Tabemer got down well to deal with it. After 24 minutes, Tabener again produced an excellent save to keep the opposition out , and just 2 minutes later , Vics should have taken the lead when Jordan Darr was found in free space by an excellent ball from Joe Camozzi, but for once his control let him down and his eventual shot was blocked. Most of the play was in the middle of the park, with both teams trying to create openings and passing the ball around well. After 40 minutes, Barnoldswick's poor goal-kick found Brian Matthews who quickly laid it off to Joel Brownhill but his shot was blocked.

Barnoldswick start the second half well, and after 47 minutes, Zack Dale used his pace to get behind the Vics' defence but Danny Tabener was equal to shot from the angle. 53 minutes in, and a recycled corner from Vics fell to Jordan Darr , and his shot was just held on the line by Ryan Livesey in Barnoldswick's net. Next it was Vics' keeper Danny Taberner to produce a top drawer save , as Danny Vincent's effort was heading for the corner but Tabbs somehow managed to get an outstretched leg to it to flick it past the post.l The midfield battle continued , with both teams trying to get forward. Brian Matthews' deflected shot after 78 minutes made Livesey produce a save, but it was Barnoldswick who took the lead somewhat scrappily as the ball rolled slowly over the line after a fine flick from Zack Dale after 81 minutes. Vics tried to press to get the equaliser , but Barnoldswick managed to play the game out without too many scares for them to claim the 3 points.
