Northwich Victoria FC are delighted to announce that ex Northern Ireland , Manchester United and Everton star Norman Whiteside will be our star speaker at a Sportsperson's Dinner evening on the Thursday 24th October 2019. Norman was capped 38 times for Northern Ireland during his successful playing career most notably with Manchester United before a short spell at Everton. In 1982, he became the youngest player to appear in the World Cup final stages, and then in May 1983 he became the youngest player at just 18 years and 18 days to score in an FA Cup Final. Norman after retiring from playing briefly joined Northwich Vics as Assistant Manager /Physio between October '91 and March '92 before leaving to concentrate on training and becoming a qualified Podiatrist.

The full evening starts at 7.30pm and includes popular comedian Bill Woolland whose observational original humour is delivered in a friendly chatty style which allows a spontaneous and natural delivery. Quick witted, up to date, modern, and topical his humour appeals to audiences of any age, he is quite simply very versatile and very funny. There will also be a sporting memorabilia auction during the evening.

Tickets are priced at £40 individually , or tables of ten can be booked for £350. A full 3 course meal is included in that price, and all tickets must be booked in advance.

The event will take place at Wincham Park, Chapel Street, Northwich CW9 6DA, home of our friends, and landlords Witton Albion FC
