"A Journey of a Thousand Miles begins with two Tiny Steps"

Northwich Victoria are delighted to announce that we have agreed a charitable partnership between the Club and “Tiny Steps”. Tiny Stepss is a young charity whose aim is to provide a sensory play area and social cafe for children and young people with additional needs , and their families in the Cheshire West area.
The charity was set up by Martin Clifton and Scott Burstow, and is inspired by Martin’s daughter Connie who was born in August 2010, with an un-named condition which meant that she may never walk, talk or lead an independent life. At 8 months, Connie was further diagnosed with West Syndrome which is an extremely rare form of Epilepsy . Connie’s introduction to life was a struggle, yet she pulled through even if the outlook is uncertain , Connie continues to prove the experts wrong.
Connie’s parents want to create the sensory play area and social cafe so that no other families have to go through the journey on their own , and to eliminate the isolation and lack of communication.

The Partnership will see Vics wear the “Tiny Steps” logo on their new away strip, and they will also raise funds for, and awareness of this worthy local charity

Vics’ Commercial Manager, Paul Bazley says of the charity : “ This is something so close to us all, collectively as a Club, as it’s such a fantastic cause, for local children. Martin and Scott , as well as being Vics’ fans, are personal friends and we are really looking forward to working alongside these great people. Up the Trickies “

Tiny Steps say of the tie-up : “We are delighted to announce that we have agreed a partnership between ourselves and Northwich Victoria FC that will see the Tiny Steps logo on the away strip for the season 2019.20.
A massive thank you to Paul Bazley for lobbying this, and to all the Staff and players at Northwich Victoria.
Martin and Scott are lifelong Vics’ fans , with their Dads regularly taking them to matches as young lads, and martin was even a mascot against Manchester United and met Sir Alec Ferguson so it means a lot to them to be associated with the Club.
The new Away strip will be unveiled in a few weeks, but the design stems from the original kit worn 145 years ago, and having seen the initial draft, can confirm it looks brilliant.
We look forward to supporting the Vics again next year, and Thank You once again “
