Northwich Victoria have completed their latest capture of the close season; City Of Liverpool midfield schemer John Connolly, 26. John (pictured in action for CoL above) arrives with a good reputation as a dominant, agressive and also ball-playing central midfielder.
FULL PROFILE -

Age - 26.

John has played for Georgia Revolution (USA), Marine AFC, Formby, Burscough, and City of Liverpool FC.

Welcome, John. A good season for yourself at CoL last time out; a different challenge here at the Vics' but hopefully the same in respect of having a big push towards the top of the NWCFL Premier Division table -

" I want to start by saying how excited I am to be signing. Vics' are a big club with loyal fans and I known some players that have played for them and enjoyed their time there, and Joe Camozzi in particular.
The manager has impressed me with his enthusiasm, experience, and knowledge of the game and wants to go for promotion next season which is the motivation that I want. Also playing at Witton with the excellent facilities is a big draw in signing up here at the Vics'. "

Vics' boss Steve Wilkes' on the latest impressive addition to the green and whites' ranks -

"The signing of John Connolly shows real intent from the football Club. After speaking to John I know we've signed a hungry, ambitious player who wants to help Northwich Victoria progress. John oozes quality and is a class act on the pitch as well as off it and is a big part of the jigsaw that me and my management team are trying to complete. "
