NVFC are pleased to announce central defender Mark Ayres has agreed terms to join the playing squad ahead of the new season 2018/19.

Steve Wilkes' on adding Mark to the squad -

"Mark Ayres is another good signing for the football Club. A very experienced centre-half who's got a very good pedigree behind him. Another player who I think the fans will fall in love with. We've now got a good complement of centre-halves, which can only be good. Really looking forward to working with Ayresy who I believe is brilliant around the dressing room and you need that if you're going to be hopefully challenging at the right end of the table."

"Yes definitely, It's a massive club with a great history and when I spoke to Steve Wilkes and Steve Pickup they told me the quality of the squad they was putting together and along with the clubs' ambitions it was an easy decision to get on board.
My ambition is to help Vics' be champions at the end of the season. "
